It is vital that candidate should challenge status quo and help explore new avenues of efficiency. design and develop technology solutions that will solve business problems and strengthen our position as digital leaders in financial services apply a broad range of software engineering best practices, from analyzing user needs and developing new features to automated testing and deployment ensure the quality, security, reliability and compliance of our solutions by applying our digital principles and implementing both functional and non-functional requirements conduct code reviews and test software as needed, along with participating in application architecture and design and other phases of SDLC proven track record of building platforms involving front end, back end components carrying a vision to build platform / application with bigger picture how can it sustain for next decades Your team You’ll be working in the KeyLink team in Pune within the UBS Wealth Management function. Your role is to provide cutting edge eBanking services to our professional wholesale clients globally. The application is currently in a phase of rebuild as green field project and your skills are vital to the strategic direction and success of the future platform. The application is used globally both internally and externally 24/7 with an approximate throughput of USD 600bn per month. Your expertise 8+yrs of experience with proficiency in the React, JavaScript and typescript styled components, CSS (Cascading Style Sheets) and Pre Processors bundling tools like Webpack, rollup, Parcel WCAG 2.1 accessibility standards is an added advantage good experience with front end testing tools and frameworks like RTL, Jest, Mocha or Cypress proficiency and front end architecture patterns. Application state management tools like Redux or state machines understanding of wireframing tools like figma and sketch strong knowledge of Java Programming to cloud based build server side distributed services / components track record of delivering successful, complex, large scale applications solid understanding of the fundamentals of computer science, including design patterns knowledge of distributed systems and microservice architectures clean coding skills and excellent problem solving ability fluency in functional and non-functional testing practices experience with RESTful web services and messaging systems understanding of observability best practices experience with source control systems (e.g. GitLab), build tools and CI/CD ideally have experience in cloud technologies, containers & Kubernetes in depth knowledge of Kafka or similar distributed event streaming platforms About Us UBS is the world’s largest and the only truly global wealth manager.
