Key Responsibilities

Backend Development & Scalability:

Nest.js

Real-time Data Pipelines:

Airbyte

API Development & AI Integration:

Lead the development of robust APIs for internal and external integrations. Work on integrating AI workflows via Cloud Functions, ensuring seamless deployment and interaction with machine learning models.

Collaboration with Cross-functional Teams:

Collaborate with frontend engineers to ensure smooth integration of backend services. Work alongside ML engineers to implement and integrate complex AI-driven functionalities into our platform.

● Infrastructure & Architecture Decisions:

optimal deployment on GCP, Azure, and Pub/Sub environments.

Performance & Scalability Optimization:

Continuously optimize backend systems for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency. Conduct regular reviews and improvements based on feedback and emerging trends.

● Leadership & Mentorship:

Lead, mentor, and collaborate with junior engineers to establish strong coding practices and solid system architectures. Help grow the product and engineering team by fostering a culture of learning and development.

What We’re Looking For:

Technology Stack

Backend Frameworks:

○ Nest.js, Python

Frontend Stack:

○ MERN Stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React, Node.js)

Databases & Data Management:

○ MongoDB, SQL, BigQuery

Cloud Infrastructure & Tools:

○ GCP, Azure, Cloud Functions, Pub/Sub

AI/ML Integration:

○ Agent-based workflows, Computer Vision, Clustering Models

Requirements

● Experience:

2-3 years

service-based firm where you contributed to large-scale projects

○ Demonstrated experience in building and scaling products in a 0-1 product company, taking responsibility for shaping the product's early-stage architecture and development.

● Skills:

GCP and Azure.

Airbyte, BigQuery, and MongoDB.

○ Strong understanding of API design and integration for both internal and external systems.

AI workflows

xperience with the MERN stack

Desirable Experience:

analytics-heavy or data-driven products.

○ Experience with real-time data processing and streaming technologies.

○ Prior startup experience and a product ownership mindset are a big plus.

● Soft Skills:

○ Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.

○ Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment.

○ Ability to mentor and lead a team, promoting a culture of growth and knowledge-sharing.
