In addition, you have:- Must have demonstrated experience in FP&A role for minimum of 10-12 years in a manufacturing company in FP&A domain- Experience in revenue forecasting/budgeting and cost analysis - Excellent Excel experience, particularly extracting data from multiple sources and ability to analyze and present through pivot tables and bridges - Natural analytical skills, evidenced with examples of value you have created in your current role - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to convert complex financial information into understandable text and insights- Excellent interpersonal and networking skills with a variety of personalities and positions- Committed to working as a team About the job • The purpose of the role is to prepare a financial forecast based on the inputs of the Integrated Business Planning process. • You will be expected to reconcile the actuals versus forecast based on impeccable understanding of the business and great relationships with the sales teams. You will also prepare an annual budget in a similar manner. • You will act as the finance business partner to the Profit Center head of Sales, providing analytical insight to drive business performance on a proactive basis. Creating informative presentations that bridge performance outcomes with expected results is a key deliverable, therefore you need to be a confident and coherent presenter. • You should proactively analyze industry trends and dive into the technical aspects of our products by immersing yourself in both our customers processes and our plant operations. • We expect you to think like a business owner, entrepreneurially striving to achieve higher profitability.Your tasks will include:• Collaborate with business units to classify, quantify, and/or forecast business metrics & risks by providing reliable, accurate, comparable and timely information• Define and build internal processes to consolidate information more effectively. Ensure the accuracy of data presented to group. • Assist in developing the forecasting models• Prepare high quality performance management insights to ensure that the most profitable mix of business is achieved • Gauging the company’s overall financial health, primarily by using key financial ratios • Work with Financial Reporting, IT team, IBP and FP&A Corporate to drive process improvements and improve financial results and forecast / actual consolidation efficiency• Act a trusted source of financial information for the Sales team, helping them identify where the returns on capital employed (accounts receivable and inventory) are justified by the margins • Help Sales team understand their financial performance and manage any gaps by emphasizing accountability • Run simulations on various “what-if” scenarios using insight and critical thinking to evaluate and recommend solutions• Help improve the financial literacy of the sales department
