Job Summary:

Financial Technical Manager

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead the

    configuration, enhancement, and support

    of Oracle ERP financial modules (GL, AP, AR, FA, PO, Inventory, Projects) tailored to logistics operations.
  • Serve as a

    Subject Matter Expert (SME)

    and technical lead for finance and supply chain ERP initiatives.
  • Manage the

    end-to-end lifecycle of ERP projects

    —from requirement gathering through to design, development, testing, deployment, and support.
  • Drive enhancements in

    financial transaction processing, cost accounting

    , and

    revenue recognition

    across warehousing, freight, and transportation functions.
  • Ensure

    data integrity, security, and compliance

    with SOX, IFRS, and local GAAP standards across financial systems and reports.
  • Design and develop

    custom financial reports and interfaces

    using Oracle tools (PL/SQL, BI Publisher, Oracle Forms/Reports).
  • Oversee

    integration

    of Oracle ERP with third-party logistics platforms (e.g., TMS, WMS, freight management systems).
  • Collaborate with

    Finance, IT, Procurement, Operations

    , and external consultants to align systems with business objectives.
  • Provide strategic input on

    ERP upgrades and Oracle Cloud migrations

    (e.g., Oracle EBS to Oracle Fusion Cloud).
  • Lead and mentor a

    cross-functional team

    of technical and functional analysts.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in

    Finance, Accounting, Computer Science

    , or a related discipline.
  • 15+ years

    of experience in ERP and financial systems;

    10+ years

    specifically in Oracle EBS or Oracle Cloud ERP.
  • Strong technical skills in

    Oracle PL/SQL, Oracle Forms/Reports, APIs

    , and integration tools (SOA Suite, REST/SOAP services).
  • Proven domain expertise in

    logistics, supply chain, or transportation sectors

    .
  • In-depth understanding of financial operations such as

    asset management, procurement, cost accounting, and intercompany transactions

    .
  • Demonstrated success in

    project and team leadership

    across multi-location, fast-paced environments.
  • Excellent

    analytical, problem-solving

    , and

    stakeholder management

    capabilities.

Key Competencies (Technical & Non-Technical):

Technical:

  • Hands-on experience with

    Oracle SCM, OTM (Transportation Management), WMS (Warehouse Management Systems)

  • Familiarity with

    logistics KPIs, freight reconciliation
