Financial Analyst CFA L3

We are seeking a highly analytical and business-savvy Business Analyst to drive financial insights and performance tracking across multiple revenue channels – including Own Website (D2C), B2B Sales, Inside Sales, Corporate Gifting, Quick Commerce, and E-commerce Platforms (B2C/B2B).

This role goes beyond reporting – the analyst will play a pivotal role in evaluating business feasibility, influencing commercial decisions, and identifying cost optimization opportunities that leverage economies of scale. The ideal candidate will combine strong financial acumen with the ability to work on large datasets, prepare scenario-based analyses, and present actionable insights to leadership.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Analysis & P&L Ownership

• Prepare channel-wise P&L statements for Own Website, B2B Sales, Inside Sales, Corporate Gifting, Quick Commerce, and E-commerce platforms.
• Conduct variance and sensitivity analyses vs. budget, forecast, and actual performance.
• Build business cases and scenario models for proposals (e.g., pricing changes, partnerships, campaigns) and evaluate feasibility from both quantitative and qualitative perspectives.

Business Metrics & Growth Analytics

• Track and analyze critical D2C metrics such as:
• ROAS (Return on Ad Spend)
• CAC (Customer Acquisition Cost)
• Conversion Rates and Retention Metrics
• AOV (Average Order Value)
• Analyze fulfilment cost structures, listing fees, platform commissions, and marketing spends to optimize channel profitability and leverage economies of scale.
• Support strategic initiatives by identifying cost reduction levers without compromising customer experience.

Decision Support & Collaboration

• Partner with Sales, Marketing, E-commerce, and Operations to align commercial decisions with financial insights.
• Provide inputs on pricing, discounting strategies, product mix, and channel expansion feasibility.
• Prepare management reports highlighting profitability, channel performance, and key recommendations.
• Advanced Analytics & Reporting
• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards (or similar BI tools) to visualize business performance.
• Work with large and complex datasets to generate actionable insights.
• Ensure accuracy and consistency of data sources used for reporting and decision-making.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Analytics, Economics, or a related field (MBA/CA/CFA preferred).
• 2–4 years of experience in FP&A, Business Finance, or Analytics, ideally in a D2C, E-commerce, or Consumer Business environment.
• Strong expertise in P&L preparation, business modelling, and financial scenario analysis.
• Proficiency in Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, financial models).
• Experience in Power BI (or Tableau, Google Data Studio) for dashboard creation and reporting.
• Hands-on experience in working with large datasets to derive insights.
• Understanding of digital marketing and e-commerce metrics (ROAS, CAC, LTV, conversion).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and business communication skills.
