Finance Team Lead

As the Finance Lead at Conscious Chemist, a rapidly growing D2C skincare brand under Era Botanics Pvt. Ltd., your role will be pivotal in driving financial strategies and operations to meet organizational goals. You will be responsible for financial planning and analysis, financial reporting, financial operations management, risk management, team leadership, and strategic decision support. In this role, you will develop and implement financial strategies, plans, and procedures to ensure the organization's financial health. Conducting financial analysis, forecasting, and budget preparation will be key aspects of your responsibilities. You will also prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in compliance with accounting principles and regulations, presenting them to senior management and stakeholders. Ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial records and transactions will be crucial, along with spearheading various Finance & Accounts activities such as cash flow management, MIS & reporting, and auditing. Monitoring financial performance, identifying risks, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations will also fall under your purview. As a leader, you will supervise and mentor finance department staff, providing guidance and training to promote their professional development. Collaborating with senior management on strategic plans and business initiatives, you will offer financial insights and recommendations to support decision-making processes. The ideal candidate for this role should hold a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field, with CA/CFA qualifications being preferred. Proven work experience as a Finance Controller, Finance Manager, or similar role, particularly in the E-Commerce industry, is necessary. Strong technical expertise in accounting principles, financial regulations, and financial analysis is required, along with exceptional leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
