Job Description

Job Summary

The Accounts Manager will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring statutory compliance, supporting audit processes, and overseeing the timely preparation of accounts. The role requires close coordination with the internal finance team, external auditors, and tax consultants to uphold the organization’s accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain day-to-day accounting transactions and oversee the general ledger.
  • Prepare, review, and verify journal entries, bank reconciliations, and vendor/client accounts.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, including TDS and GST-related accounting entries.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements and management reports, including Profit & Loss Account and Balance Sheet.
  • Support statutory, internal, and tax audit processes by providing accurate data and documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, PF, ESI, and other applicable statutory requirements.
  • Prepare and file statutory returns (GST, TDS, Income Tax, etc.) within prescribed timelines.
  • Address client and internal queries related to accounting, taxation, and compliance.
  • Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities as required.
  • Maintain proper documentation and records in accordance with accounting and compliance standards.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, taxation, and statutory compliance (GST, TDS, etc.).
  • Proficiency in accounting software such as Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, and Microsoft Excel.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office and financial reporting tools.
  • High level of accuracy with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and documentation abilities.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet strict deadlines.

Eligibility / Qualifications

  • Chartered Accountant (CA) – Preferred.
  • CA Inter qualified candidates with completion of 3 years of Articleship.
  • Graduate or Postgraduate in Commerce with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a Chartered Accountancy firm or consultancy.

Remuneration

Compensation will be commensurate with industry standards and aligned with the candidate’s qualifications and experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
