Job Description

Job Title: Finance Manager

Location: Chennai

Notes: Immediate Joiners

Experience: 10 - 13 years

Key Skills: Payroll, Taxation, Budgeting, Project based Cost analysis, Profit & Loss Management.


Responsibilities:

  • Direct supervision of all finance department work to ensure progress according to the plan and the Administrative & Financial Authority Manual and matrix.
  • Ensure utility payments, suppliers & vendors' payments are diligently reviewed and approved for further processing.
  • Verify the correctness of the bank reconciliations for all the company's accounts and follow up on their implementation without delay or accumulation.
  • Ensure that fixed assets records are maintained per the company’s policy and procedures.
  • Responsible for monthly payroll processing, bank payments processing, salary revision, earnings/deductions management, TDS workings, and deductions accordingly. Work with the auditor for the TDS and Form16 workings.
  • Responsible for preparing the Monthly MIS promptly for Senior Management to use appropriate decision- making, monthly allocations, and project expenses management
  • Monitor financial performance by measuring and analyzing results, initiating corrective actions, and minimizing the impact of variances.
  • Responsible for accurately preparing the company's quarterly and year-end financial statements by the IFRS, IAS, Commercial Company Laws, Regulatory rules, regulations, etc.
  • Preparing annual budgets at the company level, revised forecasts, if any, MIS reporting, and analysing all lines of the P&L, BS, and Cash Flow to explain the variances in the Budget.
  • Liaison with the Internal and External Auditors to address and answer all auditors' inquiries and provide the necessary data, files, and information to complete their work.
  • Overseeing procurement, having proactive relationships with all suppliers, vendors, and service providers, and negotiating commercial contracts with them.
  • Responsible for managing the office administration, working with vendors for various administrative services
  • Contribute to developing internal control systems to meet the needs and aspirations of the Management and Board of Directors.
  • Any other work assigned to it by the Management.


  • DESIRED SKILLS

  • Professional qualification in Accounting / Finance like CA, ACCA, CPA, CMA etc.
  • Prior Experience as Finance Manager in IT companies: 5+ Years must

  • Proficiency in computer programs (MS Excel, Windows, PowerPoint).
  • High communication & Interpersonal skills.
  • Has the initiative to learn everything new and desires self-development.
  • Race to achieve the desired goals and has a high ability to focus on details.
  • Can accomplish several tasks at the same time and with high efficiency.
  • Should be proactive, taking ownership and commitment towards the completion of the tasks with target dates.
