Role & responsibilities

Job Summary

The Finance & Admin Manager is responsible for overseeing the organizations financial management, accounting, compliance, and administrative operations. The role ensures financial discipline, statutory compliance, efficient office administration, and support to management in decision-making through accurate reporting and controls.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

Finance & Accounting

  • Manage day-to-day accounting operations including bookkeeping, ledger management, and reconciliations
  • Oversee accounts payable, receivable, payroll coordination, and expense control
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and MIS reports
  • Monitor cash flow, working capital, and budgeting
  • Ensure timely closure of books and financial accuracy.
  • Statutory & Compliance
  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements such as GST, TDS, PF, ESI, Income Tax, Professional Tax, and other applicable laws
  • Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, banks, and regulatory authorities
  • Maintain statutory records and support internal and external audits.

Budgeting & Cost Control:

  • Prepare annual budgets and forecasts
  • Monitor actuals vs budget and implement cost-control measures
  • Analyze financial performance and highlight risks and opportunities to management.

Administration & Operations:

  • Oversee office administration including facilities, vendors, contracts, and asset management
  • Manage procurement of office supplies and services
  • Ensure smooth functioning of office infrastructure and administrative staff.

HR & Payroll Support:

  • Coordinate payroll processing, attendance, and reimbursements
  • Support HR with employee documentation, compliance, and policy implementation.

Reporting & Management Support:

  • Provide financial insights and reports to management for strategic decisions
  • Assist management in process improvement, SOP creation, and internal controls

Educational Qualification:

  • Bachelors degree in Commerce / Finance / Accounting
  • CA / CMA / MBA (Finance) preferred.

Experience:

  • 5 to 10 years of experience in finance & administration
  • Experience in NBFC, banking, or finance-driven organizations preferred.

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and statutory compliance
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel
  • Analytical, detail-oriented, and process-driven
  • Vendor management and negotiation skills
  • Strong communication and leadership abilities.

Finance Manager with 10 to 15 years of experience.
