Finance Manager (d2c experience, immediate joiners)

We’re Divine Hindu — a fast-scaling D2C spiritual & lifestyle brand. We need a hands-on Finance Manager who’s done end-to-end finance in an e-commerce / D2C environment (Shopify + marketplaces + logistics integrations). This role owns month-end close, reconciliations, cashflow, GST & tax ops, vendor payouts and finance operations so the business can scale without finance bottlenecks.

• Full month-end close: P&L, balance sheet, accruals, journal entries, variance analysis and pack for leadership.
• Daily / weekly reconciliation: Shopify payouts, payment gateways, bank statements, Uni-commerce / ClickPost / Shiprocket/3PL/marketplace settlements → match to orders and bank deposits.
• Cashflow & working capital: 13-week cashflow, burn & runway reporting, collections follow-up, vendor payout scheduling.
• Inventory accounting & COGS: reconcile inventory ledger with warehouse counts, record COGS, track shrinkage and returns impact.
• Billing & compliance: GST filing support, TDS, vendor invoice processing, statutory audit readiness and coordination with CA firm.
• MIS & dashboards: create sales / margin / expense dashboards (daily/weekly/monthly), AOV, gross margin, net margin, refunds & cancellations analysis.
• Payables & payroll coordination: ensure timely vendor payments, reconcile salary liabilities with HR/Payroll.
• Process & control: implement SOPs for refunds, credits, advance payments, petty cash, and improve reconciliation SLAs.
• Projects: Pricing & SKU margin analysis, finance inputs to promotions (coupon impacts, A/B spend ROI), and support investor / banking queries when needed.

• 4–8 years total finance experience with

  2+ years in D2C / e-commerce

  finance or retail operations finance.
• Strong hands-on recon experience with

  Shopify payouts, payment gateway & bank reconciliation

  . Familiarity with Uni-commerce / ClickPost / Shiprocket (or similar logistics connectors) is a plus.
• Advanced Excel (pivot tables, index/match, SUMIFS, scenario modeling). Comfortable building and owning Google Sheets/Excel models.
• Good understanding of GST, TDS and basic corporate tax processes in India; experience working with CA firms for monthly/quarterly compliances.
• Experience owning month-end close and delivering timely management information.
• Ability to work in a fast, ambiguous startup environment — implement controls quickly and iterate.
• Immediate availability (join within ≤15 days) or already notice-free.

• Experience with accounting platforms (Tally / QuickBooks / Xero / Zoho Books) and ERP-like systems.
• Basic SQL or comfort pulling data from BI/analytics systems.
• Prior startup / early-stage high growth experience (50–200 Cr GMV brands preferred).
• Prior exposure to fundraising / investor packs.
