Role Overview: As a Lead - Finance & Accounts in Mumbai, you will play a key role in overseeing various financial aspects of the company. Your responsibilities will include financial planning and analysis (FP&A), accounting operations, treasury management, tax compliance, risk management, and ensuring overall financial performance aligns with the business growth objectives. Your expertise as a finance professional will be crucial in driving strategic financial decisions and effectively communicating complex financial information to diverse stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement financial strategies to support long-term business objectives and growth plans. - Participate in the annual budgeting and forecasting process, ensuring accuracy and alignment with strategic goals. - Conduct detailed financial analysis, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to senior management for improved decision-making. - Manage the preparation and analysis of financial statements and reports, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. - Oversee month-end and year-end close processes to maintain financial integrity. - Establish and uphold internal controls and financial policies to ensure compliance and safeguard company assets. - Effectively manage cash flow, working capital, and treasury operations to optimize liquidity and minimize financial risk. - Cultivate banking relationships and negotiate financial instruments. - Supervise foreign exchange risk management activities, if applicable. - Ensure compliance with local, national, and international tax regulations. - Coordinate the preparation and filing of tax returns and manage relationships with tax authorities and auditors. - Stay updated on financial regulations and accounting standards changes. - Identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks such as credit, market, and operational risks. - Develop and implement risk management frameworks and policies to enhance financial security. - Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team. - Promote a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and professional growth within the finance department. - Collaborate with other department heads to support cross-functional initiatives and achieve company-wide goals. - Prepare financial reports and presentations for the Board of Directors, investors, and stakeholders. Qualifications: - Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. An MBA or professional certifications such as CA or CMA are preferred. - Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years in finance roles, with at least 5+ years in a senior position. Technical Skills: - Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting. - Proficiency in financial modeling, analysis, and forecasting. - Expertise in ERP systems and advanced Excel skills. Soft Skills: - Exceptional leadership and team management abilities. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to convey financial information clearly. - Strategic thinking to translate financial data into business insights. - High level of integrity, ethical conduct, and professional judgment. - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.,
