Job Description

Key Responsibilities

1. Financial Management & Control

  • Manage end-to-end accounting, financial reporting, and monthly closures in compliance with statutory and audit requirements.
  • Monitor and control cash flow, fund utilization, and working capital efficiency.
  • Ensure timely preparation of MIS and financial statements.

2. Budgeting & Cost Management

  • Prepare annual budgets and track performance against targets.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and drive financial efficiency across departments.
  • Support management with variance analysis and actionable insights.

3. Statutory Compliance & Audit Coordination

  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws (RBI/NHB/Income Tax/GST/Companies Act).
  • Coordinate with internal and statutory auditors for timely audit completion.
  • Maintain accurate financial documentation and ensure zero non-compliance.

4. Treasury & Banking Operations

  • Manage banking relationships for fund management, disbursement, and reconciliations.
  • Oversee treasury operations including short-term borrowing and investment decisions.
  • Ensure optimal fund allocation for operational and growth requirements.

5. Risk & Internal Control

  • Implement strong internal control systems and processes.
  • Monitor credit exposure, financial risks, and ensure preventive mechanisms.
  • Support management in identifying and mitigating financial risks.

6. Business Support & Strategic Input

  • Provide financial insights to support business decisions and growth initiatives.
  • Participate in strategic discussions with management on profitability and expansion plans.
  • Support product and branch expansion plans through financial feasibility studies.

7. Team Leadership

  • Lead and develop the finance and accounts team for higher productivity and ownership.
  • Foster a culture of compliance, accuracy, and accountability.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Education:

    Chartered Accountant (CA) Mandatory
  • Experience:

    Minimum 4+ years post-qualification experience in financial management, preferably in NBFC / Housing Finance / Banking sector.
  • Preferred:

    Experience in managing audits, treasury, and regulatory compliance.

  • Married with at least one child

    (reflecting

    maturity and stability

    in personal and professional life).
  • Age: 34 to 36 yrs

  • Residing in Chennai or willing to be based full-time in Chennai.
  • High integrity, reliability, and sense of responsibility.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Hands-on, detail-oriented, and capable of managing a lean team.
  • Effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
