Finance & Compliance Manager

You’ll act as the financial operator behind multiple entities, ensuring accurate reporting, airtight compliance, and sharp cost control. Must-Have Competencies

1. Financial Modeling & Scenario Forecasting

• Strong command over cash runway modeling, entity-level burn tracking, unit economics, and scenario-based forecasting.
• Ability to build dynamic dashboards used directly for executive decisions.

2. Startup-Stage Financial Ownership

• Comfortable owning high-stakes deliverables end-to-end in ambiguous, fast-paced environments.
• Experienced working directly with founders or CXOs—clear, proactive, and solution-oriented.

3. Quantitative Rigor & Execution Discipline

• Excellent command over complex financial data, mental multitasking, and cross-functional tracking.
• Consistent delivery with minimal revision cycles.

4. Bookkeeping & Accounting Ops

• Proficient in tools like QuickBooks, Ramp, Mercury; comfortable posting entries, tagging costs, and driving ledger-level integrity.

Preferred (Good-to-Have) Competencies

• Experience with multi-entity accounting—especially cross-border (India + US), intercompany reconciliation, and ownership structures.

• Working knowledge of Indian and US regulatory frameworks, including MCA/ROC, GST, TDS, IRS compliance, and payroll regulations.

• Prior track record of cost optimization, vendor scorecards, and reducing non-essential spend by 10–20% without compromising operations.
