About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled CA Inter qualified professional with strong expertise in Tally to join our Accounts & Finance team as a Senior Accountant. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing accounting operations, ensuring compliance, and supporting financial management processes. This role requires both technical expertise and leadership capabilities to guide junior staff and coordinate with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting & Financial Operations

• Manage day-to-day accounting activities including journal entries, ledgers, and reconciliations.
• Maintain accurate books of accounts in Tally ERP.
• Handle accounts payable, receivable, and cash flow management.
• Prepare financial statements, MIS reports, and management reviews.
• Support in month-end and year-end closing activities.

Compliance & Audit

• Ensure adherence to accounting standards and statutory regulations.
• Prepare and maintain tax filings, GST, TDS, and other statutory returns.
• Assist in internal and external audits with complete documentation.
• Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules.

Team Collaboration & Support

• Provide guidance and training to junior accountants.
• Coordinate with internal departments for financial data collection.
• Address management queries related to accounts and finance.
• Support process improvements and automation in accounting functions.

Additional Duties

• Vendor management and payment processing.
• Inventory valuation and cost accounting support.
• Petty cash handling and reimbursement processing.

Required Qualifications & Skills

Education & Technical Skills

• CA Inter (Mandatory)
• Proficiency in Tally ERP (Advanced level)
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, GST, TDS, and tax regulations
• Experience with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Knowledge of banking operations and reconciliations
