Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Finance & Accounts Specialist based in Shillong. The Finance & Accounts Specialist will oversee project accounting, financial management systems, and economic/financial analysis for infrastructure and tourism-related projects. The role involves managing project financial reporting, ensuring compliance with funding agency requirements, supporting budgeting and cost control, conducting financial feasibility studies, and providing expert guidance on economic analysis for project decision-making. Qualifications Experience working in World Bank/ADB–aided infrastructure projects Minimum 5 years of experience in project accounting and financial management systems for infrastructure projects. Experience in economic and financial analysis of tourism projects (preferred) MBA, Master’s Degree in Finance, or Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification. Strong Finance and Accounting expertise, including preparation and analysis of financial statements A solid understanding of financial regulations and accounting principles Prior experience in financial or accounting roles is highly preferable Exceptional Analytical Skills for data interpretation and problem-solving
