Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Finance & Accounts Manager to lead our financial operations in India, including budgeting, payments, and P&L management. The role requires strong financial acumen, leadership skills, and experience in the shipping or logistics sector.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee daily finance and accounting operations.
Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial planning.
Monitor and analyze P&L, cash flow, and balance sheets.
Ensure timely payments, invoicing, and reconciliation of accounts.
Implement internal controls to safeguard company assets and compliance.
Manage audits, tax filings, GST, and financial reporting in line with Indian regulations.
Provide strategic financial advice to senior management for decision-making.
Lead and mentor the finance team for efficient performance.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CA, CPA, or CMA preferred).
Minimum 7–10 years of finance and accounting experience, preferably in shipping, logistics, or trading companies.
Strong knowledge of Indian accounting standards, GST, and corporate tax compliance.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, SAP, or ERP systems).
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Leadership ability to manage a small to mid-sized finance team.
Fluency in English.
