Job Description

The Construction Factory Head oversees all operations within the construction factory, ensuring efficiency, safety, quality, and adherence to project timelines. They are responsible for managing personnel, implementing processes and maintaining equipment to meet production goals. Additionally, they collaborate with project managers, engineers and other stakeholders to optimize factory performance and achieve project objectives.

Responsibilities:

1. Leadership and Management:

  • Lead, motivate and supervise factory staff, including production workers, supervisors and support personnel.
  • Set performance objectives, provide guidance and conduct performance evaluations for team members.
  • Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, innovation and continuous improvement.

2. Operations Management:

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the construction factory, including scheduling, production planning and resource allocation.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards and environmental policies.
  • Implement and maintain efficient production processes to optimize output and minimize waste.
  • Monitor inventory levels, coordinate material procurement, and manage supply chain activities.

3. Quality Assurance:

  • Establish and enforce quality control procedures to ensure products meet specifications and customer requirements.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify areas for improvement and prevent defects or deficiencies.
  • Implement corrective actions and preventive measures to address quality issues and enhance product reliability.

4. Equipment Maintenance:

  • Coordinate maintenance and repair activities for factory equipment, machinery, and facilities.
  • Develop preventive maintenance schedules and ensure timely servicing to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
  • Evaluate equipment performance and recommend upgrades or replacements as needed to improve efficiency and safety.

5. Project Collaboration:

  • Work closely with the Production Director, Project Manager and Factory Production Manager.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to support project planning and execution.
  • Provide input on construction methods, materials selection, and production schedules to meet project requirements.
  • Communicate regularly with project teams to address issues, resolve conflicts, and ensure alignment with project objectives.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or related field (Master's degree preferred).

2. Proven experience in construction manufacturing or industrial production, with a managerial role responsibility.

3. Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve performance goals.

4. In-depth knowledge of construction materials, manufacturing processes, and quality control standards.

5. Proficiency in project management software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.

6. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

7. Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
