We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Purchase Manager to oversee procurement operations for our modular construction projects. The role requires strong negotiation skills, vendor management expertise, and a deep understanding of construction materials, prefabricated components, and supply chain management. The Purchase Manager will play a critical role in ensuring timely availability of high-quality materials at competitive prices to support project execution. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement purchasing strategies aligned with project requirements and company goals. Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers for materials, equipment, and services related to modular construction. Maintain vendor relationships and build a reliable supplier base for long-term partnerships. Ensure procurement of high-quality materials within budget and project timelines. Review purchase requisitions and issue purchase orders as per company policies. Monitor market trends, material price fluctuations, and ensure cost optimization. Coordinate with project, design, and site teams to align procurement schedules with project timelines. Ensure compliance with quality standards, legal regulations, and safety requirements. Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and delivery schedules. Lead and guide the procurement team for efficiency and performance improvement. Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Civil/Mechanical Engineering, Minimum 4–5 years of experience in procurement, with at least 3–5 years in construction or modular/prefab industry. Strong knowledge of construction materials, prefabricated components, and vendor networks. Proven negotiation and contract management skills. Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Office Suite. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple procurement cycles simultaneously.
