Job Summary:

The Sr. Project Manager will support the Project Manager in planning, coordinating, and overseeing all aspects of precast construction projects. The Sr. Project Manager will also be independently supervising certain projects. This includes resource management, scheduling, financial tracking, and ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards. The ideal candidate will have some experience in project management within the construction industry, preferably in precast construction, and a strong desire to learn and grow in this field.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Project Support and Coordination:

• Assist in developing comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, vendors, and contractors to ensure seamless project execution.
• Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards.

2. Precast Construction Assistance:

• Support the production and installation of precast concrete elements.
• Ensure that all precast components meet quality and structural requirements under the supervision of the Project Manager.
• Assist with logistics for the transportation and installation of precast elements.

3. Budget and Resource Management:

• Help manage project budgets, ensuring projects are completed within financial constraints.
• Assist in the allocation and management of resources, including labor, materials, and equipment.
• Support contract negotiations and manage relationships with subcontractors and suppliers.

4. Quality and Safety Assurance:

• Help implement and enforce quality control measures to ensure high standards of construction.
• Ensure all projects comply with safety regulations and industry standards.
• Assist in addressing any issues or risks that may arise during the construction process.

5. Communication and Reporting:

• Maintain clear and effective communication with all stakeholders, including clients, team members, and senior management.
• Provide regular project updates and reports, highlighting progress, challenges, and solutions.
• Assist in facilitating meetings to discuss project status, resolve issues, and plan for upcoming phases.

6. Problem Solving and Decision Making:

• Identify potential project risks and support the development of mitigation strategies.
• Make informed decisions to assist in keeping projects on track and within scope.
• Help resolve conflicts and issues that may arise during construction.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.

2. Proven experience in construction project management, specifically in precast construction.

3. Proven track record of managing multiple construction projects successfully.

4. Strong knowledge of precast construction processes, materials, and legal regulations.

5. Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

6. Strong leadership and team management abilities.

7. Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.

8. Proficiency in project management software and tools.

9. PMP or similar project management certification is a plus.

Working Conditions:

1. Full-time position, in an office environment, with occasional site visits to the factory.

2. May require occasional overtime.

3. Must be able to adapt to changing priorities and work under pressure.

4. Personal laptop is essential for this role.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
