Factory Manager

Key Responsibilities:

1. Production Planning & Control

• Plan daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules as per demand.
• Ensure raw material availability before production.
• Monitor production output and maintain efficiency as per set targets.
• Implement process improvements to reduce wastage and downtime.

2. Team Management

• Supervise production supervisors, operators, and labor teams.
• Assign work responsibilities and monitor performance.
• Conduct daily team meetings and ensure discipline on the shop floor.
• Train workers for safety, machine handling, and productivity improvement.

3. Quality Control

• Ensure products meet company and client quality standards.
• Coordinate with QC team for inspection and testing.
• Handle quality complaints and take corrective actions immediately.

4. Machinery & Maintenance

• Oversee machine maintenance schedule and breakdown handling.
• Coordinate with the maintenance team to minimize downtime.
• Ensure all machines and tools are in proper working condition.

5. Safety & Compliance

• Enforce safety rules and PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) usage.
• Conduct regular safety audits and fire drills.
• Ensure compliance with labor laws, factory act, and environmental regulations.

6. Inventory & Material Management

• Manage stock levels of raw materials, semi-finished and finished goods.
• Reduce inventory wastage and maintain optimal stock levels.
• Coordinate with purchase and store departments.

7. Coordination & Reporting

• Coordinate with head office for production status, targets, and dispatch.
• Prepare daily/weekly/monthly production reports.
• Analyze data to identify productivity and cost-saving opportunities.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
