Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Factory Manager to oversee the operations of our Food FMCG manufacturing unit. This is a full-time, on-site role responsible for managing production activities related to spice powders, rice flour, and breakfast mix products.

The Factory Manager will lead end-to-end production planning, stock control, quality assurance, and team management while ensuring adherence to food safety and hygiene standards.

Key Responsibilities

1. Planning & Coordination

• Collect sales forecasts and prepare raw material (RM) & packaging material (PM) requirement plans.

• Coordinate with the Purchase Department for material rates, approvals, and timely procurement.

• Plan in-house and job work production based on capacity and schedules.

• Verify SAP stocks for RM, WIP & FG and ensure data accuracy.

• Provide production confirmations to Sales for billing and dispatch planning.

2. Stock & Material Management

• Conduct monthly stock audits and submit reconciled reports to management.

• Monitor REF stock and maintain age-wise RM & WIP reports.

• Identify, report, and minimize non-moving or obsolete stocks.

• Plan material availability to meet Supply and month-end dispatch requirements.

3. Production Oversight

• Execute approved production plans efficiently and on schedule.

• Conduct RM load verifications and report deviations to Management.

• Coordinate repair and maintenance activities with relevant teams.

• Support costing and product sampling activities as per management instructions.

• Obtain blend ratios and production approvals from QC & R&D departments.

• Coordinate QC communication, packaging instructions, and billing approvals.

• Maintain all communications via email for documentation and traceability.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Food Technology / Production / Mechanical / Industrial Engineering.

• Minimum 5–10 years of experience in FMCG food manufacturing, preferably in spice powders, rice flour, or breakfast mix production.

• Proven leadership and team management capabilities.

• Sound knowledge of FSSAI, ISO, and quality management systems.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
