The role is accountable for timely purchasing, vendor coordination, cost control, and uninterrupted material availability for production and dispatch. Key Responsibilities Plan, raise, and track purchase orders for RM, chemicals/additives, outsourced mats, packing materials, and consumables . Identify, develop, and maintain reliable vendors; negotiate price, credit terms, MOQ, and delivery timelines. Ensure on-time material availability aligned with production and export schedules. Monitor stock levels with stores/PPC and trigger re-orders to avoid stock-outs or excess inventory. Coordinate with outsourcing vendors for mat supply: order placement, follow-ups, quality alignment, and delivery control. Verify invoices, GRNs, and delivery challans; ensure rate and quantity accuracy. Track purchase spend, price trends, and vendor performance; support cost-saving initiatives. Ensure compliance with company standards for quality, documentation, and audit requirements. Maintain proper purchase documentation and MIS reporting to management. Requirements 3–6 years of purchase/procurement experience in manufacturing/export setup. Strong vendor negotiation and follow-up discipline. Job Title: Inventory Controller Location: Pollachi, Tamil Nadu Department: Stores / Operations Reports To: Factory Manager / Operations Head Job Summary We need an Inventory Controller to manage and ensure accurate stock of Raw Materials, WIP/intermediary stock, Finished Goods, and Rejection/NR stock. The role owns stock accuracy, reconciliation, FIFO, and audit-ready reporting. Key Responsibilities Maintain accurate physical and system stock for RM, WIP, FG, and NR/Rejection. Update all stock movements: inward, issue to production, transfers, FG entry, dispatch, returns, rejections. Conduct cycle counts and monthly stock audits; resolve variances with root-cause analysis. Ensure FIFO/FEFO, bin-location discipline, and batch traceability. Segregate, tag, and track rejection/NR stock; coordinate rework/return/disposal with QC. Prepare daily/weekly inventory MIS and share with production and accounts. Support internal/buyer audits with proper documentation.
