Job Description
Job Summary:
The Executive – HRSS (Onboarding) is responsible for managing and executing the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth and positive experience. This role involves coordination between multiple internal teams and timely completion of documentation and system entries. ⸻ Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage end-to-end onboarding processes for new hires, including document collection, background verification coordination, and system entries.
  • Conduct new hire orientation sessions and ensure seamless Day 1 experience.
  • Coordinate with internal departments such as IT, Admin, and Payroll for new hire enablement.
  • Ensure all pre-joining formalities (document verification, offer acceptance, etc.) are completed accurately and on time.
  • Update and maintain accurate employee records in HRMS / HRIS systems.
  • Track and report onboarding metrics, highlighting delays or challenges.
  • Maintain compliance with internal policies and external regulations during the onboarding process.
  • Respond promptly to queries from new hires related to onboarding, policies, or documentation.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance onboarding experience and efficiency.

Key Skills & Competencies:
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational ability.
  • Good knowledge of HR processes and documentation.
  • Familiarity with HRMS/HRIS systems (e.g., SAP SuccessFactors, Workday, Oracle, etc.).
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks under tight timelines.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Qualification:
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field (MBA in HR preferred).
  • 1–4 years of experience in HR operations or onboarding roles, preferably in a shared services environment.
