Job Description

The Executive Assistant (EA) to the Managing Director will provide high-level administrative and operational support to ensure the efficient functioning of the MD’s office. The role requires a proactive, organized, and detail-oriented professional who can manage multiple priorities, maintain confidentiality, and act as a trusted liaison between the MD and internal/external stakeholders.


Key Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Manage the MD’s calendar, schedule meetings, and ensure effective time management.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and correspondence on behalf of the MD.
  • Coordinate internal and external communications, including emails and phone calls.
  • Organize and follow up on meetings, ensuring minutes are recorded and action points are tracked.
  • Handle confidential documents and information with discretion.
  • Assist in strategic planning, project coordination, and performance monitoring across departments.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements, accommodation, and itineraries.
  • Serve as the point of contact between the MD and department heads, clients, and vendors.
  • Support HR, admin, and operational functions as directed by the MD.
  • Maintain accurate filing systems and ensure data accuracy for reports and documentation.
  • Manage task tracking and follow-up to ensure timely completion of key business activities.


Qualifications & Skills Required:

  • Graduate or Postgraduate degree (preferably in Business Administration, Commerce, or related field).
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience as an Executive Assistant, preferably in a manufacturing or corporate environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle sensitive matters with diplomacy
