Vendor Sourcing & Assessment Identify and qualify new vendors for raw materials (steel, alloy, plating chemicals), packaging materials, tooling, and subcontracted processes like heat treatment and surface coating. Conduct supplier assessments focusing on quality systems, production capacity, and cost efficiency. Float inquiries, collect quotations, and perform comparative analysis. 2. Vendor On boarding & Audits Manage vendor registration, documentation, and system entries in ERP. Coordinate with quality team for technical evaluations and trial approvals. Cost Optimization & Negotiation Negotiate prices and terms to ensure best value procurement aligned with the company’s cost reduction goals. Quality & Delivery Assurance Work closely with QA and Production to resolve supplier quality issues like thread tolerances, plating inconsistencies, or material rejections. We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Store & Packaging Manager to oversee inventory management, packaging operations, and dispatch processes in our fasteners manufacturing and e-commerce business. The role requires strong organizational skills, leadership ability, and knowledge of both industrial packaging (for B2B orders) and retail/e-commerce packaging (for online customers). Key Responsibilities: Store Management: Manage receipt, storage, and issuance of raw materials, finished goods, and consumables. Maintain accurate stock levels, ensuring proper documentation (GRN, stock register, bin cards, ERP entries). Conduct regular stock audits, cycle counts, and reconciliation. Monitor slow-moving, excess, or damaged stock and report to management. Ensure compliance with FIFO/FEFO methods in stores. Packaging Management: Oversee packaging of fasteners for both bulk industrial supply and e-commerce retail orders. Develop and implement standard packaging processes to ensure product safety, durability, and cost-effectiveness.
