The Role:

India Designer Show & India Design Awards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sponsorship Strategy & Execution:

    Develop and implement comprehensive sponsorship strategies to achieve and exceed revenue targets for both the India Designer Show and India Design Awards.
  • Pipeline Generation:

    Proactively identify and research potential corporate sponsors that align with our brand values and target audience.
  • Relationship Management:

    Build and nurture strong, long-lasting relationships with key decision-makers at prospective and existing sponsor companies.
  • Proposal Development:

    Create compelling and customized sponsorship proposals that clearly articulate value propositions and ROI for partners.
  • Negotiation & Closing:

    Lead negotiations and successfully close sponsorship deals, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Market Intelligence:

    Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and market demands to identify new opportunities and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Reporting & Analysis:

    Provide regular reports on sales activities, pipeline status, and revenue forecasts to senior management.
  • Collaboration:

    Work closely with the marketing, events, and operations teams to ensure seamless delivery and activation of sponsor benefits.

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience:

    Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in sponsorship sales, with a significant portion dedicated to the events industry, specifically large-scale shows or awards.
  • Industry Knowledge:

    In-depth understanding of the Indian corporate landscape and a proven ability to connect with relevant brands.
  • Track Record:

    Demonstrated success in meeting and exceeding sales targets for corporate sponsorships.
  • Networking Prowess:

    A strong network within the corporate sector and a natural ability to build rapport.
  • Communication Skills:

    Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Strategic Thinker:

    Ability to think strategically and creatively to develop innovative sponsorship packages.
  • Self-Motivated:

    Highly driven, results-oriented, and capable of working independently as well as part of a team.
  • Passion for Design:

    A genuine interest in the design industry is a plus!
