Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy & Execution:

    Develop and implement effective sales strategies to attract designers, brands, sponsors, and exhibitors for India Designer Show events.
  • Target Achievement:

    Consistently meet and exceed individual and team sales targets for exhibition space, sponsorship packages, and other event-related services.
  • Lead Generation & Qualification:

    Proactively identify, research, and qualify potential leads through various channels, including industry databases, networking events, referrals, and cold outreach.
  • Client Relationship Management:

    Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with new and existing clients, understanding their needs and ensuring their satisfaction.
  • Proposal Development:

    Create compelling, customized sales proposals and presentations that effectively communicate the value proposition and benefits of participating in India Designer Show.
  • Negotiation & Closing:

    Expertly negotiate terms and close deals, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements for both clients and India Designer Show.
  • Market Intelligence:

    Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to identify new sales opportunities and adapt strategies accordingly.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration:

    Work seamlessly with the marketing, operations, and design teams to ensure cohesive client engagement and flawless event execution.
  • Reporting:

    Maintain accurate sales records, pipeline forecasts, and activity reports within the CRM system, providing regular updates to management.
  • Event Representation:

    Represent India Designer Show professionally at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to promote our brand and expand our professional network.


What We're Looking For:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Event Management, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of demonstrable success in event sales, sponsorship sales, or exhibition sales, preferably within the fashion, design, luxury, or large-scale events industry in India.

  • Proven ability to consistently meet and exceed sales targets in a competitive environment.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong understanding of the sales cycle and client relationship management.
  • Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales analytics.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, results-driven, and a team player.
  • Ability to travel extensively across India as required for client meetings, site visits, and events.
