Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Estimation Engineer to join our team for high-rise residential and commercial building projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, analyzing tender documents, and coordinating with various departments to ensure cost-effective project execution.. Responsibilities 1. Quantity Surveying & Estimation: Study and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings for accurate quantity take-offs. Prepare detailed Bill of Quantities (BOQ) based on GFC drawings, tender documents, and site requirements. Conduct estimation for civil, structural, finishing, and MEP works using both manual and ERP-integrated systems. 2. Costing & Rate Analysis: Prepare cost estimates considering material, labor, equipment, and overheads. Analyze and validate rates based on market trends and historical data. Evaluate alternative materials and methods to optimize project costing (value engineering). 3. Tendering & Bid Support: Review tender documents and prepare comprehensive technical and commercial proposals. Coordinate with procurement and vendor management teams for updated pricing and rate inputs. Participate in pre-bid meetings, site inspections, and client interactions. 4. ERP System Utilization: Create, update, and manage project estimates and BOQs using the company’s ERP software . Ensure all estimates, vendor rates, and project costing are recorded and tracked within the ERP system for transparency and reporting. Generate comparative cost reports and material consumption forecasts from ERP. 5. Coordination & Documentation: Liaise with the Planning, Procurement, Design, and Project Execution teams for alignment on scope and quantities. Maintain proper documentation of vendor quotations, project assumptions, rate justifications, and tender clarifications. Prepare and present MIS reports for management review. Required Skills & Qualifications: B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering or equivalent. Minimum 3+ years of experience in estimation/costing for high-rise residential and commercial construction . Proficient in: AutoCAD MS Excel (advanced) Estimation software ERP platforms (SAP, Oracle Primavera, Buildsmart, etc.) In-depth knowledge of construction methods, materials, DSR/CPWD norms, and costing standards. Strong numerical, analytical, and coordination skills. Excellent communication and documentation abilities. Location: Deccan, Pune
