Estimation Engineer

Switchgear Control Technics Pvt Ltd is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Tendering Executive to join our team at Madbidri in Dakshina Kannada. As a Tendering Executive, you will be responsible for preparing, submitting, and managing tenders for our switchgear products to ensure alignment with client requirements and company standards. Your key responsibilities will include preparing and compiling detailed tender documents in compliance with client specifications and company policies. You will collaborate with engineering and project teams to develop accurate cost estimates for switchgear projects, considering materials, labour, and overhead. Your expertise in switchgear systems and industry standards will be crucial in providing accurate technical input during the tendering process. You will conduct research on market trends, competitor offerings, and pricing strategies to create competitive proposals. As the main point of contact for clients during the tendering phase, you will address inquiries and provide clarifications as needed. Additionally, you will maintain organized records of all tender submissions, contracts, and related correspondence, working closely with sales, engineering, and project management teams to ensure a smooth transition from tendering to project execution. To qualify for this role, you should have a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in a related field and proven experience in tendering or bid management, preferably in the electrical or construction sectors. Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, strong leadership and team management abilities, proficiency in using MS Office Suite, and outstanding communication and interpersonal skills are essential. You should also be able to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
