Estimation Engineer

• Analyzing Project Documents:Reviewing blueprints, specifications, and other project documents to understand the scope of work and identify all relevant cost factors.
• Preparing Cost Estimates:Developing detailed cost estimates for materials, labor, equipment, and other project-related expenses.
• Collaborating with Teams:Working closely with project managers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate and comprehensive estimates.
• Cost Control:Suggesting cost-saving opportunities and value engineering solutions during the project lifecycle.
• Database Management:Maintaining and updating databases of historical cost data to support future estimates.
• Reporting:Preparing and presenting cost estimates, reports, and recommendations to management for decision-making.
• Monitoring Project Costs:Tracking actual project costs against the estimated costs during project execution.
• Reviewing and Validating Estimates:Checking the accuracy and completeness of estimates and ensuring they align with project scope and requirements.
• Staying Updated:Keeping up-to-date with industry trends, new materials, and construction methods.
• Negotiating and Analyzing:Assisting with bid analysis and contract negotiations.
