Estimation Engineer

The Estimation Engineer is responsible for preparing cost estimates and BOQs (Bill of Quantities) for our ongoing projects.

Job Location: 1. Kolkata – West Bengal – India. - 1 Position.

2. Raipur – Chhattisgarh – India. – 1 Position.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

· Prepare detailed cost estimates for civil works, finishing, and infrastructure based on drawings and technical specifications.

· Develop and validate quantities from drawings using estimation software or manual methods.

· Create and review BOQs as per requirement

· Assist in project budgeting during pre-construction phases.

· Support the project team with cost data and budget updates.

· Analyze actual project costs and compare them with estimates.

· Vendor & Rate Analysis:

· Analyze and compare supplier and subcontractor rates.

· Maintain a rate database for various materials and services.

· Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and MEP teams to ensure estimates align with design scope.

· Attend site visits for estimation validation.

· Budget preparation & monitoring.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Proficient of using Microsoft Office, PPT, Auto Cad, ERP software in related field
• Good understanding of construction methods, materials, and codes.
• Strong mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills & Team Player.
• Good communication and negotiation skills.

Excellent communication in speaking & writing.

Education Qualification:

BE/B.Tech/MTech in Civil Engineering.

NICMAR/RICS/ PGP in Construction Management/ PMP will be added advantage

Experience:

5 yrs-10 yrs exp in relatable field.
