Estimation Engineer

To prepare accurate cost estimates for interior design and fit-out projects, ensuring competitive pricing while maintaining profitability. The role involves analysing project requirements, studying drawings, coordinating with suppliers, and supporting the project team in winning and executing projects effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Cost Estimation & BOQ Preparation
• Study project drawings, specifications, and tender documents to understand scope.
• Prepare detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQ) for materials, labour, and subcontract works.
• Develop cost estimates for interior fit-out, joinery, furniture, electrical, plumbing, and finishing works.
• Supplier & Vendor Coordination
• Obtain quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Negotiate rates to ensure competitive pricing.
• Maintain and update a database of vendors and material prices.
• Tender & Proposal Preparation
• Prepare and submit tender documents, including technical and commercial proposals.
• Ensure all pricing complies with client requirements and company standards.
• Participate in pre-tender and post-tender meetings with clients/consultants.
• Cost Analysis & Budget Control
• Analyse cost variances between estimated and actual project costs.
• Recommend cost-saving solutions without compromising quality.
• Support the project team with budget monitoring during execution.
• Technical Coordination
• Liaise with design and project teams to clarify scope and specifications.
• Assist in value engineering by proposing alternative materials or methods.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and company procedures.
• Reporting & Documentation
• Maintain proper documentation of all estimates, quotations, and supplier details.
• Provide regular reports on estimation activities to management.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
