Key Responsibilities

Functional Ownership – Manufacturing ERP

• Act as

  functional SPOC

  for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central across manufacturing functions.
• Understand business requirements and translate them into ERP functional solutions.
• Ensure effective utilization of ERP modules related to:
• Production Planning & Control
• Bill of Materials (BOM)
• Routings & Work Centers
• Inventory & Warehouse Management
• Procurement & Vendor Management
• Costing & Finance integration

Business Process Mapping & Improvement

• Map

  As-Is and To-Be

  business processes for manufacturing operations.
• Standardize ERP-driven processes across plants/locations.
• Identify process gaps, inefficiencies, and manual interventions and recommend ERP-based improvements.
• Ensure alignment of ERP processes with SOPs and compliance requirements.

ERP Operations & User Support

• Provide

  functional support

  to end users for day-to-day ERP issues.
• Coordinate issue resolution with technical teams or implementation partners.
• Monitor and ensure smooth execution of:
• Production orders
• Material planning (MRP)
• Inventory movements
• Job work / subcontracting transactions

Master Data Management

• Own and govern master data related to:
• Items and item categories
• BOMs and routings
• Vendors and customers
• Work centers and capacities
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and compliance with defined standards.

UAT, Training & Documentation

• Prepare and execute

  User Acceptance Testing (UAT)

  for new features and enhancements.
• Develop functional specifications, SOPs, and user manuals.
• Conduct ERP user training and refresher sessions for manufacturing teams.

Reporting & MIS

• Define functional requirements for reports and dashboards.
• Validate manufacturing, inventory, and costing reports.
• Support management MIS and operational performance reporting.

Audit & Compliance Support

• Ensure ERP transactions comply with internal controls and audit requirements.
• Support internal and external audits by providing ERP data and explanations.
• Ensure traceability, batch tracking, and documentation as per quality standards (ISO / GMP, as applicable).

Required Skills & Experience

Functional Skills

• Strong functional knowledge of

  manufacturing processes

  and ERP workflows.
• Hands-on experience in

  Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (Functional)

  .
• Understanding of production planning, inventory control, procurement, and costing.
• Experience working closely with business users and cross-functional teams.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Commerce / Management.
• MBA / PG in Operations / Systems preferred.

• 5–8 years

  of ERP functional experience in a manufacturing setup.
• Experience in multi-location or project-based manufacturing preferred.
