Sales Marketing Asst. Manager

Job Summary : We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Assistant Manager to drive business growth in OEM and pharmaceutical sectors. The candidate will be responsible for managing key accounts, developing new business opportunities, and ensuring strong customer relationships while achieving sales targets. Key Responsibilities : Develop and manage sales activities in OEMs and pharmaceutical companies in the Pune region Identify, approach, and convert potential clients in target industries Maintain and grow relationships with key decision-makers and influencers Understand technical aspects of products and provide suitable solutions to clients Coordinate with internal teams (production, logistics, QA/QC) to ensure timely deliveries and technical support Track sales pipeline and prepare weekly/monthly sales reports Attend trade shows, exhibitions, and industry-specific events for brand visibility Handle negotiations, pricing, and closing deals while maintaining profitability Support senior management with market intelligence, customer feedback, and competitive insights Required Skills & Qualifications : B.E. in Mechanical / Chemical / Industrial or related field 3+ years of experience in industrial/OEM/pharma sales Strong understanding of industrial components/products (e.g., gaskets, seals, tubing, valves, etc.) Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills Familiarity with CRM systems, MS Office, and sales reporting tools Ability to travel within the Pune region and nearby industrial clusters Preferred Qualities : Experience in dealing with procurement and technical teams of OEMs or pharmaceutical plants Existing client base or network in Pune/MIDC/Pharma industrial areas Knowledge of regulatory/compliance expectations in pharma sector (e.g., FDA, GMP, etc.) Show more Show less
