ERP Consultant (CA/CA interns preferred-Contractual Job)

Roles & Responsibilities:

Post-Go-Live Support – Buying Module

• Provide daily functional support to end users on purchase requisitions, approvals, POs, GRNs, and vendor records.
• Troubleshoot process flow issues, user access queries, and data errors.
• Ensure compliance with internal workflows and maintain master data accuracy. New Module Implementation & Enhancements
• Stock / Inventory Management:
• Configure item masters, stock ledgers, warehouses, GRNs, and consumption tracking.
• Align stock movement with program activities and finance workflows.
• Asset Management:
• Set up asset master data, tagging, depreciation schedules, asset transfer, and disposal processes.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and audit readiness.
• Bank Integration & Direct Payments:
• Collaborate with finance and IT to enable direct payment files and auto-upload to banks.
• Reduce manual interventions and improve payment cycle accuracy.
• Bank Reconciliation System (BRS):
• Enable automated BRS through ERPNext.
• Ensure real-time reconciliation of bank data and accounting entries.
• Scholarship Payments via ERPNext:
• Design and implement scholarship disbursement workflows: student master, payment approval, DBT processing, and tracking.
• Ensure linkage with fund tracking and donor requirements.

Training & Documentation

• Train users in new modules and workflows with tailored sessions.
• Create process manuals, SOPs, and simplified user guides.
• Support adoption and smooth transition to digital processes.

Reporting & MIS

• Build/modify reports and dashboards: procurement status, stock aging, asset register, scholarship payments, and bank reconciliations.
• Assist finance team in creating module-wise MIS reports from ERPNext.

Coordination & Technical Liaison

• Act as a bridge between users, finance, and external ERP developers.
• Capture enhancement requirements and track bug fixes/customizations.
• Ensure testing and sign-off of new modules before deployment.

Candidate Specification:

Educational Qualification

Any graduate/postgraduate in Finance, IT, or ERP-related fields

Experience

5-7 years of relevant experience

Technical Skills

ERPNext/ SAP (functional side) with experience in Buying Module ( logistics covering Purchase order till payment)

Competencies

SAP / ERP Next platform – finance related

Other skills

Proficient in Excel, workflow configuration, and user management
