Job Overview:

We are looking for an Entrepreneur in Residence (EIR) – Growth Marketing to build and scale our customer acquisition and subscription growth engine from the ground up. This is a high agency, builder role working directly with the co-founder, with a Clear path to owning a P&L / business line as we scale. You will be responsible for designing, testing and scaling performance marketing and lifecycle strategies across Meta, Google, TikTok, affiliates and other paid/owned channels and then converting these users into engaged, paying and subscribed customers using CRM, marketing automation and data-led experimentation.

Key Responsibilities:

·  Define growth north star metrics and build a clear experimentation roadmap for acquisition and retention.  

·  Plan, execute, and optimize user acquisition campaigns across Meta, Google (Search, Performance Max, YouTube), TikTok, affiliates and emerging channels.  

·  Build and manage full-funnel journeys: ads → landing pages → onboarding → conversion → subscription.  

·  Own daily performance marketing hygiene: budgets, bids, creatives, audience strategy, and funnel optimization to hit CAC, ROAS and payback targets.  

·  Set up and use CRM / marketing automation tools (e.g., CleverTap, Mixpanel, WebEngage, Braze, etc.) to build journeys, cohorts and advanced segments.  

·  Design and run lifecycle campaigns (onboarding, activation, nudges, win-back, churn prevention) across push, email, in-app, SMS and WhatsApp.  

·  Structure and scale subscription programs: plans, pricing, offers, lock-in strategies, renewals and upgrades.  

·  Run continuous A/B tests on creatives, landing pages, offers, and messaging to improve CVR, LTV and retention.  

·  Work closely with product, content and design to ship growth features (referrals, nudges, paywalls, subscription flows, etc.).  

·  Build a data-first culture: define dashboards, track cohorts and report weekly on acquisition, retention and subscription metrics to the founders.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

·  4–5 years of experience in growth / performance marketing / lifecycle marketing at a high-growth startup or consumer internet / D2C / fintech / edtech / gaming company. 

·  Hands-on experience running performance campaigns on Meta and Google; exposure to TikTok and affiliate networks is a strong plus.  

·  Deep comfort with growth analytics: funnel analysis, cohorts, CAC/LTV, ROAS, payback period, retention curves.  

·  Practical experience with CRM / marketing automation tools (CleverTap, Mixpanel, Amplitude, WebEngage, Braze or similar).  

·  Proven track record of owning targets and moving metrics (e.g., lowering CAC, improving ROAS, boosting subscription/retention).  

·  Strong experimentation mindset: structured approach to hypothesis, test design, measurement and iteration.  

·  Comfortable working with data: building reports, working with dashboards (GA4 / Looker / BigQuery / Sheets) and making decisions from numbers.
