Job Responsibilities

  • Acquire new clients in the government segment.
  • To manage and generate business from PSU/government clients of southern region.
  • Develop positive relationships with clients.
  • Act as the point of contact and handle customers individual needs
  • Generate new business using existing and potential customer networks.
  • Resolve conflicts and provide solutions to customers in a timely manner.
  • Monitor sales metrics (e.g., quarterly sales results and annual forecasts)
  • Suggest actions to improve sales performance and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Cultivate relationships with customers, optimize their performance & identify additional business opportunities to expand revenues.
  • Work with internal teams in a collaborative manner to execute account specific sales strategies.
  • Ensure timely payment collections from the assigned accounts.

Requirements and skills

  • 4-7 years of experience preferably in serving government clients or software selling experience.
  • Hands on experience in PSU/Government or Software / SAAS sales and an ability to do liaising with clients.
  • Knowledge of CRM software and MS Office (MS Excel in particular)
  • Understanding of sales performance metrics
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
