Job Description

Primary Title: Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) Functional Consultant

About The Opportunity

A specialist recruitment mandate supporting asset‑intensive industries — manufacturing, utilities, power, oil & gas and heavy engineering — seeking an experienced Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) Functional Consultant to join client teams on‑site across India. The role focuses on translating maintenance and reliability requirements into production‑grade EAM solutions that improve uptime, optimize maintenance spend and drive safe operations.Role & Responsibilities

Lead EAM functional design and blueprinting workshops to define maintenance, inspection and asset‑lifecycle processes and translate them into system requirements.
Configure CMMS/EAM modules (SAP‑PM, IBM Maximo or Oracle EAM) for work‑order lifecycle, equipment hierarchy, BOMs, preventive maintenance, calibration and spares management.
Develop functional specifications for integrations (ERP, IoT/condition monitoring, SCADA) and collaborate with technical teams to validate interfaces and data flows.
Drive master‑data strategy and perform data migration/validation activities: equipment, functional locations, bills of materials, and preventive schedules.
Plan and execute unit, integration and UAT testing; prepare training materials and deliver end‑user training and go‑live support on site.
Engage stakeholders across maintenance, reliability, procurement and IT; provide post‑go‑live hypercare and continuous improvement recommendations.

Skills & Qualifications

Must‑Have

5+ years hands‑on experience implementing EAM/CMMS solutions (SAP‑PM, IBM Maximo or Oracle EAM) in industrial or utility environments.
Proven track record in maintenance planning, work‑order management, preventive maintenance and asset master data management.
Strong business‑process orientation with experience running blueprinting workshops and preparing functional specifications.
Practical exposure to testing (Unit/Integration/UAT), data migration activities and end‑user training delivery.
Good SQL skills for data extraction/validation and familiarity with integration patterns (APIs, IDocs, REST/SOAP).
Ability to work on‑site across India and travel to client locations as required; strong stakeholder and change management skills.

Preferred

Certification in SAP‑PM, IBM Maximo or Oracle EAM and/or experience with IoT/condition monitoring integrations.
Experience with reliability engineering concepts (RCM,CBM,PM optimization) and spare parts optimisation.
Familiarity with Agile delivery, CI/CD for EAM extensions, or experience with enterprise asset analytics/reporting tools.
