We are seeking a highly experienced Engineering Manager who can own end-to-end delivery of projects with minimal oversight. The ideal candidate will combine deep technical expertise, strong leadership, and architectural vision to drive execution across engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Take complete ownership of engineering projects from requirements to deployment with minimal involvement of leadership.
• Architect, design, and oversee implementation of scalable AI-driven healthcare systems and products.
• Lead and mentor engineering teams, ensuring high-quality deliverables and adherence to timelines.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product, QA, data quality, and customer success teams to align on goals and outcomes.
• Define and enforce engineering best practices, coding standards, and system design principles.
• Translate business and product requirements into robust, technical solutions.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, data privacy, and security standards (HIPAA, GDPR, HL7, FHIR).
• Drive adoption of agile processes, sprint planning, and release management.
• Identify risks, propose mitigation strategies, and ensure smooth execution of projects.
• Stay ahead of emerging technologies in AI/ML, cloud computing, and healthcare tech, and integrate them where relevant.
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 10+ years of proven experience in end-to-end project ownership and delivery roles.
• Proven ability to deliver large-scale projects end-to-end with ownership of architecture, design, and execution.
• Strong technical background in:
• Python, APIs, and databases.
• AI/ML systems and data pipelines.
• Cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Deep understanding of system architecture, microservices, and distributed systems.
• Solid grasp of SDLC, agile methodologies, and engineering management tools (Jira, Confluence, etc.).
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams independently and drive projects with near-zero supervision.
• Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Familiarity with healthcare industry compliance and security standards is highly desirable.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
