Job Description

Description:

Senior Engineering Manager

Requirements:

12 to 20 years of total experience with 3–7 years in Engineering leadership roles.
Minimum 3 years of ERP experience (any ERP).
Strong experience managing and scaling engineering teams across geographies.
Technical background
in Java/J2EE or .NET or Frontend (JS/React) or DBMS.
Deep knowledge of
modern architectures: microservices, cloud-native
(AWS/Azure/GCP), distributed systems.
Strong experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and distributed delivery.
Proven expertise in budgeting, resource planning, and vendor management.
Experience leading modernization, re-platforming, and large-scale transformation programs.
Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, GitHub/GitLab, CI/CD pipelines, and engineering toolchains.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and people leadership skills.

Job Responsibilities:

Lead and
manage multiple engineering teams (60–80 engineers)
delivering enterprise-grade applications.
Drive engineering strategy, technical roadmap, and execution aligned with business goals.
Provide leadership in system architecture, design reviews, and solving complex technical challenges.
Partner with Product Management on roadmap
planning, prioritization, and delivery governance.
Ensure adherence to engineering best practices: code quality, security, scalability, and automation.
Hire, mentor, and develop engineering leaders and teams; build a high-performance culture.
Establish KPIs/OKRs for tracking delivery velocity, quality, and engineering efficiency.
Improve Agile delivery processes, sprint planning accuracy, and cross-team collaboration.
Identify technical risks, system bottlenecks, and drive architectural improvements.
Represent Engineering during executive reviews, planning meetings, and steering committees.
Promote DevOps culture and work closely with Ops/Security teams for CI/CD, observability, and reliability.
