Engineering Manager

As a Python Engineering Manager at AppGlide, you will be a key member of the customer's solutions engineering team, collaborating closely with customers to deploy solutions across global customer deployments. **Key Responsibilities:** - Expertise in the customer's operational analytics solution for networks, applications & security workflows. - Hands-on deployment of the product to meet customer requirements. - Collaboration with the engineering team on deployment plans for POC and leading to the completion of deployment. - Enhancing product features and quality through enhancement proposals and customer reviews. **Qualifications Required:** - 2+ years of experience in managing and hiring engineers on teams with 5-10 reports, and a total of 6+ years in fast-paced engineering roles. - Familiarity with technologies such as Django, Python, React, Postgres, SQL, AWS, GCP, RDS, Docker, and Kubernetes. - A degree in Computer Science/Information Technology. - Experience in managing high-performance teams in startup-like environments. - Proficiency in planning team roadmaps and goals as a product-minded engineering leader. - Ability to collaborate with cross-functional departments to drive successful business outcomes. - Solid understanding of architecture, design, and data flow in applications for effective script design. - Capability to develop, debug, and maintain automation scripts/ code independently.
