Engineering Manager

The Engineering Lead will oversee a team of engineers working across several product categories. This role focuses on ensuring high technical performance, strengthening team capability, and aligning local engineering activities with global standards and strategic direction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive the adoption of global and regional engineering frameworks, methodologies, and quality norms.
  
• Serve as the key communication bridge between global engineering teams and the local engineering function.
  
• Contribute technical expertise during bidding, quotations, and new business evaluations.
  
• Define and monitor engineering KPIs, operational processes, and documentation systems.
  
• Guide the launch of new products and processes, ensuring robust implementation and handover.
  
• Mentor, support, and upskill the engineering team to enhance performance and technical depth.
  
• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to ensure engineering deliverables meet customer and regulatory expectations.
  
• Represent the site in global engineering forums and ensure timely integration of shared knowledge and standards.
  
• Promote continuous improvement across design, development, and new product introduction activities.
  
• Troubleshoot and resolve engineering challenges, product deviations, and non-conformance issues effectively.

• Prior experience in a global engineering setup or multi-location industrial environment.
