⚡ Job Summary
We’re looking for a hands-on Electronics Quality Lead to own quality systems across our electronics manufacturing value chain from PCB assembly to final integration of products like BMS, controllers, and chargers. The role ensures top-notch reliability, supplier quality, and process excellence for the electronics that power EmoEnergy’s products.
🎯 What You Will Do
- Support New Product Development (NPD) and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) activities by ensuring design and process quality from concept to production.
- Ensure all development activities follow design control, change control, and quality planning requirements.
- Develop and implement quality assurance processes for PCB assemblies and electronic modules.
- Support sourcing decisions, cost evaluation, and supplier capability assessments to balance quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness in the electronics supply chain.
- Lead risk management (DFMEA/PFMEA) and maintain risk files for critical electronics.
- Review and approve design verification & validation (DV/PV) plans, test methods, and quality documentation.
- Collaborate with engineering and regulatory teams to ensure compliance with relevant industry standards (e.g., IPC-A-610, ISO 9001, IATF 16949, automotive safety requirements).
- Oversee supplier audits, component qualifications, and corrective action management (CAPA/8D).
- Ensure compliance and approval of quality records, test reports, and design documentation throughout the product lifecycle.
- Drive root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives for field and production issues.
✅ What We’re Looking For
- B.E./B.Tech or M.E./M.Tech in Electronics or Electrical Engineering.
- 5+ years in electronics quality, manufacturing, or reliability engineering (preferably in EV, power electronics, or automotive).
- Strong knowledge of PCB assembly, testing, and failure analysis processes.
- Proficiency in quality tools: FMEA, SPC, MSA, PPAP, CAPA, 8D, and risk management.
- Experience supporting NPI/NPD and lifecycle quality management.
- Understanding of industry and regulatory standards (IPC, ISO 9001, IATF 16949, or equivalent).
- Excellent cross-functional collaboration and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to travel to suppliers and manufacturing sites frequently.
