Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced eCommerce Functional Consultant to guide customers through the strategy, design, configuration, and rollout of integrated eCommerce solutions. This role requires strong functional expertise, excellent analytical capabilities, and the ability to translate business requirements into scalable eCommerce implementations.

Key Responsibilities

Product Strategy & Execution

• Understand client business processes, workflows, and requirements across eCommerce, operations, fulfillment, and finance.
• Conduct functional assessments and map requirements to platform capabilities (Magento, Shopify, SFCC, etc.).
• Define detailed functional specifications, process flows, user journeys, and solution blueprints.
• Configure eCommerce workflows, catalog structures, checkout flows, payment integrations, and order lifecycle processes.
• Provide inputs to technical teams for customizations, integrations, and API-based enhancements.
• Support full SDLC phases — analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and post-go-live.
• Maintain detailed documentation, user guides, and functional training content.

Market & Partner Development

• Conduct market and competitor research to recommend best-fit solutions for B2B/B2C customers.
• Collaborate with partners (Magento agencies, Shopify partners, ERP vendors) on solutioning and delivery.
• Participate in presales activities including requirement discovery, demos, and scoping workshops.
• Provide recommendations around platform selection, integration strategy, and digital commerce best practices.

Cross-Functional Leadership

• Work closely with engineering, QA, UX, and project management teams to ensure delivery quality.
• Translate business requirements into structured user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Facilitate UAT, training, and rollout sessions with customer teams.
• Coordinate with integration teams on ERP, PIM, CRM, and OMS connections.
• Track functional KPIs includes solution adoption, customer satisfaction, and delivery excellence.

Required Qualifications

Experience

• 3–6+ years of experience in eCommerce functional consulting or business analysis.
• Strong expertise working on Magento, Shopify, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, or other enterprise eCommerce platforms.
• Demonstrated experience managing functional requirements, workshops, and client communication.
• Hands-on involvement in end-to-end eCommerce project delivery.
• Exposure to Agile methodologies and cross-functional collaboration.

Technical Knowledge

• Strong understanding of eCommerce workflows: catalog, checkout, payments, pricing, promotions, shipping, and order management.
• Familiarity with API integrations, data flows, and system architecture concepts.
• Working knowledge of HTML/CSS/JavaScript, SQL, and web technologies (preferred).
• Understanding of ERP integrations (Dynamics, SAP, NetSuite) is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹1,600,000.00 per year
