Job Title: E-commerce Operations Executive (Ethnic Wear Brand)
Location: Surat, Gujarat (India)
Job Type: Full-time / Part-time (Flexible)
Job Summary: We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented E-commerce Operations Executive to manage all aspects of our online ethnic wear business. The ideal candidate will oversee order processing, inventory management, customer communication, and coordination with suppliers and logistics partners. This role is crucial in ensuring a seamless shopping experience for our customers while maintaining smooth backend operations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Order Processing & Fulfillment:
· Manage and process all online orders from various platforms (Website, Instagram, WhatsApp, etc.).
· Coordinate with suppliers, warehouses, and courier partners to ensure timely dispatch and delivery.
· Track shipments and handle delays or issues with logistics providers.
· Generate shipping labels, invoices, and ensure proper packaging.
2. Inventory Management:
· Maintain and update stock levels in real-time to avoid overselling.
· Coordinate with suppliers for restocking and new inventory procurement.
· Conduct periodic inventory audits to ensure accuracy.
· Forecast demand and plan inventory accordingly.
3. Customer Support & Query Handling:
· Respond to customer inquiries via email, WhatsApp, and social media regarding orders, returns, and exchanges.
· Handle order cancellations, refunds, and replacements as per company policy.
· Ensure customer satisfaction by resolving issues promptly.
4. Website & Marketplace Management:
· Update product listings, pricing, and descriptions on the website and other marketplaces.
· Ensure product images and details are accurate and appealing.
· Monitor and optimize product listings for better visibility.
5. Returns & Refunds Management:
· Process return requests and coordinate with logistics for pickups.
· Inspect returned products and update inventory accordingly.
· Initiate refunds or exchanges as per company policy.
6. Reporting & Analytics:
· Maintain records of daily orders, sales, and returns.
· Prepare weekly/monthly reports on order status, inventory levels, and customer feedback.
· Identify operational bottlenecks and suggest improvements.
Skills & Qualifications:
· Experience: 1-3 years in e-commerce operations, preferably in fashion/ethnic wear.
· Technical Skills:
o Proficient in Excel/Google Sheets (for inventory tracking).
o Familiarity with e-commerce platforms (Shopify, WooCommerce, Instagram Shopping, Amazon Seller Central, etc.).
o Basic knowledge of logistics (Shiprocket, Delhivery, etc.).
· Soft Skills:
o Strong communication (written & verbal).
o Problem-solving & multitasking ability.
o Highly organized with attention to detail.
· Preferred: Experience in handling Instagram-based orders.
