Dispatch Executive / Officer

The Dispatch Executive cum Stock Manager is responsible for overseeing the dispatch of goods, managing stock levels, coordinating with internal teams and logistics partners, and ensuring smooth inventory and delivery operations. This role ensures that products are dispatched accurately, stock is maintained properly, and records are updated in a timely manner. Key Responsibilities: Dispatch Responsibilities: Plan and coordinate daily dispatch operations as per delivery schedules. Ensure timely dispatch of orders with complete documentation (invoice, delivery challan, transport details, etc.). Liaise with transporters and courier partners to arrange pickups and deliveries. Track shipments and resolve any delivery-related issues or delays. Prepare and maintain dispatch records, including vehicle tracking, delivery logs, and acknowledgments. Stock Management Responsibilities: Monitor stock levels and maintain optimal inventory to prevent shortages or overstocking. Perform regular stock counts (daily, weekly, monthly) and reconcile physical stock with system records. Manage inward (receipts) and outward (issues) of materials/goods accurately. Coordinate with the procurement and sales teams to ensure stock availability and order fulfillment. Maintain accurate inventory records in ERP/stock management software. Documentation & Reporting: Generate daily/weekly/monthly reports on dispatch and stock status. Maintain proper documentation for audits and compliance. Identify and report discrepancies, damages, or stock loss immediately. Preferred Attributes: Experience in manufacturing, FMCG, or e-commerce sectors. Familiarity with barcode or RFID-based stock management systems. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
