Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute talent acquisition strategies that align with business goals and support the organization's long-term growth and success.
  • Provide visionary leadership to the talent acquisition team, offering guidance, mentorship, and support to foster high performance and collaboration.
  • Overseeing recruitment, ensuring fair and unbiased TA practices are in place.
  • Set and lead initiatives to improve the quality, quantity, diversity of hires, giving competitive advantage in the talent marketplace.
  • Lead direct and matrix team TA members to ensure effective, efficient, and timely TA delivery.
  • Provide accurate reporting on TA performance and progress against planned hiring forecasts and create forward plans, to get ahead of demand, to ensure we consistently the right support to business customers.
  • Provide regular market insight/information from internal and external sources. Advise on competitor activity, availability of talent, salary trends and hiring best practice.
  • Educate and influence hiring managers on the importance of diversity in the recruitment process.
  • Providing SME knowledge and input to Talent Acquisition, HR and business colleagues.
  • Continuously enhance and optimize the recruitment process, leveraging cutting-edge tools and technologies to improve the candidate experience and reduce time-to-fill.
  • Champion and lead efforts to ensure diversity and inclusion are integral to talent acquisition strategies, fostering a workforce that reflects company's values and mission.
  • Utilize data and analytics for talent management insights and recommendations to optimize Talent Acquisition practices and inform data-driven decision-making.
  • Effectively communicate and present talent acquisition strategies, performance metrics, and recommendations to executive leadership and stakeholders through compelling presentations.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, external partners, and vendors to ensure effective and efficient talent acquisition efforts.
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of the talent acquisition function, providing data-driven reports to the executive team.
  • Ensure that all recruitment activities comply with relevant laws and regulations, including equal employment opportunity guidelines.
  • Efficiently manage the talent acquisition budget, making strategic decisions to maximize resources and ROI.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in talent acquisition to maintain competitiveness in the market.

Preferred Profile:

  • A minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in talent acquisition and human resources, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Excellent leadership, team management, and communication skills, with a track record of mentoring and developing high-performing teams.
  • Experience handling multiple stakeholders with the ability to tailor your approach to the client base.
  • Proficiency in HR technology and applicant tracking systems (ATS), as well as a strong understanding of emerging HR technologies.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a track record of making data-driven decisions that positively impact talent acquisition.
