Job Description

As a Financial Analyst at Cognizant, your role will involve undertaking the financial structuring and analysis of deals to meet Cognizant's business objectives. Your key responsibilities will include: - Crafting pricing models and assessing deal P&L, cash flow, metrics, and financial viability - Highlighting potential risks of a deal throughout the bid lifecycle from qualification to deal closure - Partnering with and leading the deal team in analyzing financial strategies and solutions - Supporting client negotiations of financial/commercial terms to ensure contract viability - Collaborating with various teams such as FP&A, Tax, and technical accounting - Compiling financial materials for internal deal governance - Maintaining work products/aids for reporting KPIs and progress - Ensuring compliance with Cognizant's processes and policies - Validating commercial/financial Terms and Conditions to evaluate risks - Driving the use of standardized tools and methodologies - Promoting and supporting regional and global pricing initiatives - Ensuring internal customer satisfaction with the pricing team's performance - Aligning overall pricing strategy with business needs and imperatives Qualifications required for this role include: - 14+ years of experience in pricing/finance with exposure to pricing deals - Good business acumen and the ability to interact with multiple stakeholders - Strong leadership, negotiation, and presentation skills - Understanding of finance functional areas impacting revenue recognition, pricing, and contract terms - Ability to coach, mentor, and guide associates in career development - Proficiency in Excel and related tools to support large transactions effectively - Experience in presenting commercial propositions and negotiating contractual terms with clients Additionally, preferred capabilities for this role include past experience working overseas, which can be beneficial for stakeholder management.,
