This role is in Pune or Chennai.In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:The Client Entitlement & Authentication group seeks to increase the speed and accuracy of provisioning ; reduce the number of locations provisioning occurs, accelerate the time from onboarding to provisioning via self-service and offer a menu of flexible authentication options to users and clients In this role,
- This role requires a visionary leader who can build and manage high-performing teams, drive innovation, and deliver technology solutions that enhance business outcomes.
- Lead and manage global development teams, ensuring appropriate design, technical capabilities, and resource allocation to meet strategic objectives.
- Champion change management initiatives, encouraging innovation, creativity, and continuous improvement in technology solutions.
- Drive quality and adherence to best practice in the end-to-end design and implementation of systems and processes.
- Collaborate with internal partners and stakeholders, as well as clients, to develop solutions that drive revenue, client satisfaction, and efficiency.
- Develop and execute group-wide business plans and participate in firm-wide initiatives aligned with organizational goals.
- Lead risk identification and mitigation efforts, handling escalations effectively.
- Drive recruitment, development, and retention of diverse talent, fostering an inclusive culture that supports professional growth and wellbeing.
- Manage operating budgets, forecast resource needs, and ensure financial discipline within the approved plans.
- Motivate and mentor team members to maximize their contributions and support their career development.
To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline, or equivalent work experience is required.
- 15+ years of experience in systems analysis, program development, and technology leadership.
- Minimum of 6-8 years managing development project teams, preferably in complex, global environments.
- Demonstrated capability working with the training and deployment of AI agents
- Ability to operate in and influence a federated ecosystem of design, product and engineering teams
- Experience architecting large scale portal experiences including data architecture, API design and entitlement management
- Core Java, JAVA 11 and above Object Oriented Programming concepts, Spring, Spring boot, hibernate, RDBMS (Oracle), SQL, Gitlab, Docker, CI/CD, S3,
- Understanding of JVM, memory usage, performance testing and tuning.
- Understand nuances of architecture, Familiarity with different design and architectural patterns.
- Understand microservices based, scalable architecture (previous experience working with Kafka).
- Hands-on experience with micro-frontend architecture and frameworks like Angular.
- Design, implement and maintain Java-based applications that can be high-volume and low-latency. Experience implementing caching (using Hazelcast/ ehcache / Memcached/others).
- Skill for writing reusable Java libraries
- Basic Understanding of the concepts of MVC (Model-View-Controller) Pattern, JDBC (Java Database Connectivity), and RESTful web services
- Proven ability to lead large-scale technology projects and deliver results on time and within budget.
- Strong leadership skills with a demonstrated commitment to agile and inclusive engineering culture.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in financial services or related industries is a plus.
