Job Description

Title: DevOps Engineer – Tooling & Infrastructure Support

About the Role:

DevOps Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Infrastructure Automation & CI/CD

Automate infrastructure provisioning using tools like Terraform and Ansible
Design, implement, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins and GitLab
Drive infrastructure as code practices and ensure version-controlled deployment workflows

System Management & Environment Support

Manage Linux-based systems, including scripting and server maintenance
Support engineering and QA environments across development, staging, and production
Perform environment health checks and manage capacity planning

Containerization & Observability

Containerize applications using Docker and manage lifecycle across environments
Set up monitoring and observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack)
Maintain alerting systems to ensure availability, performance, and fault tolerance

Collaboration & Integration

Work with backend engineers and QA teams to align on deployment strategies
Support rollouts, rollback procedures, and release validation processes
Contribute to improving operational processes, runbooks, and incident response

Continuous Improvement

Ensure system reliability, scalability, and security best practices
Participate in retrospectives, root cause analysis, and process automation initiatives
Document infrastructure architecture, workflows, and troubleshooting guides

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
5–7 years of experience in DevOps or SRE roles
Experience with production-grade infrastructure in cloud or hybrid environments
Exposure to large-scale
infrastructure migrations
Strong communication and collaboration skills across technical teams
